European Parliament   Study on the role of a future European Gender Institute. Purpose of the study was to explore what should be the role and structure of such institute and what should be the roadmap to its creation. The study analysed the legal base, verified which were the conditions justifying the establishment of such Institute as autonomous Community Agency and examined whether these conditions were fulfilled. The study also included an analysis of alternative options to an autonomous Agency.
Techniques used: analysis of written sources, telephone and face-to-face consultations of stakeholders and policy-makers at different levels.
